Easter Egg Trees

March 14, 2017

I’m still working on using up all of the water color Easter eggs I made last weekend. I love the way this card turned out.

Size:  Horizontal side fold A2 card

Extra Details:  I started by cutting stitched rectangles from blue card stock and green card stock. The blue panel became my base. I cut two stitched hillsides from the green panel. I used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to ink the edges of the green hillsides. I also die cut the Stitched Tree Borders from kraft card stock. I adhered one of the green hillside to the tree border. Then, I adhered both to the blue panel.

I added the sentiment to the other hillside using white embossing powder. I adhered this hillside with foam tape to the blue panel.

The chicks, eggs, paint brushes, hats and buckets were in my box of colored and cut images. All of them were water colored with Distress Inks. I made sure to paint the edges with my Black Soot Distress Ink Marker. I adhered all of these pieces with liquid glue.

I stamped the solid egg image form Chirpy Chirp Chirp on the front the white card base. I used Distress Inks to stamp those. Lastly, I adhered the panel to the card base.
