The school my kids attend is having a basket auction fundraiser soon. I am donating a card set to the auction. I choose to do a set of punny vegetable cards. I choose this theme for a few reasons; a) they are fairly generic so the cards can be sent to anyone for almost any occasion, b) my kids school plants a garden every spring, and finally, c) I found a fun vegetable pun that made me laugh.
I made three different card designs for the card set. I wanted to do something fun with the envelopes also. I keep all the envelopes the same.
Front of the Envelopes
Back of the Envelope and Cards
Size: A2 envelopes
Extra Details: I started with some pre-made white envelopes. I stamped the veggies tops in green ink on the bottom edge of the front of each envelope. I left a space for the stake, which I stamped in gray ink. I added the leaf details in a darker green ink. Next, I added the words on the stake with black ink.
On the back flap of the envelope, I stamped the watering can in the same gray ink. I also used that stamp and ink for the back of my cards.
Stamps Used: Lawn Fawn’s Rooting for You
Ink: Versa Fine
Simon Says Stamp Ink in Smoke
Simon Says Stamp Hybrid ink in Key Lime
Memento Dew Drops in Cottage Ivy
Hope you enjoyed the envelopes!
