Easter Tags

April 15, 2017

Easter is just 1 day away and I still want to make cute cards with bunnies and chicks. I am also on my Spring Break finally, so I can give into feeling.

I made some Easter tags today. I have some scraps of Echo Park paper from the Simon Says Stamp March 2016 Card Kit that I have been hording. I decided to day was the day to use it.

Size:  Tags

Extra Details: I began by die cutting four tags from some white card stock. I did have a big enough scrap to cover the entire tag in the patterned paper, so I cut it down to slightly smaller than my tag. I rounded the top edges with my envelope punch board. I adhered the patterned paper to the tag bases. I added a small strip of green patterned paper to the bottom of each piece of tag.

Nice I stamped and colored all of the images. I used Distress Ink as water colors when coloring in my images. Once they were dry, I fussy cut them all out. I painted the edges with a black marker to hide any imperfections. I used glue dots to adhere the images to my tags.

I felt that my tags were missing something, so added the small heart tags. I found a few more scraps from the Echo Park papers and die cut the heart tags. I stamped Happy Easter on them. I used some Lawn Fawn Twine to string the two tags together.
