Spring Break means lots of crafty time for me. I was browsing through our local library the other day and found the mystery section; complete with Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. This card is inspired by those books.
Size: Vertical side fold A2 card
Extra Details: I started with a white card base. I stamped the lined paper background in a blue ink first. I added the green trees next. I used second generation stamping to add some variety in the color. Then, I added the foot prints in brown ink. The paw print went next to the foot prints. I used gray ink on the paw prints. I added the compass rose to the bottom left corner using black and red inks.
I die cut five circle frames from black card stock. I adhered them together to create a thick circle frame. I adhered three thin kraft rectangles together. Once, these pieces were dry, I adhered them to my card base. I trimmed the kraft rectangle to fit next the circles. I carefully stamped my sentiment in magnifying glass. Lastly, I added some silver gel pen to the handle of the magnifying glass.
