Coffee and Donuts

July 16, 2017

I received a few sheets of Lawn Fawn’s Polka Mon Amie paper with my recent order. I love the soft colors of that collection. I used them to create a few cards using paper piecing.

Size:  Vertical side fold A2 card

Extra Details:  I began this card by stamping the to-go cups and donuts on four pieced of patterned paper. I fussy cut everything out, painted the edges black and glue the pieces together to create multi colored cups and donuts

While the cups were drying, I created a tan card base. Using Barely Beige ink, I stamped a brick pattern on the card front. Then using a mini ink blending tool, I distressed the edges of the card front with the same ink.

I adhered the cups and donuts to the front using foam tape. For the sentiment, I stamped it on some pink patterned paper and fussy cut it out. I added a sentiment and the card front was finished.

I added a sentiment and two more images to the inside of the card and it was finished.
