After I finished the Halloween Dog Cards Set, I had four ink smooshed backgrounds left over. I didn’t want to waste them, so I created four more Halloween cards. This time the design is the pretty much the same for each card. One is different because I was running out of pieces.

Size: Horizontal top fold A2 cards
Extra Details: I began this card with the four orange ink smooshed backgrounds, four black card bases and four white liners. I had done enough with the dogs so I moved on to another Halloween stamp set in my stash.
I stamped and white heat embossed some frames on black card stock. I fussy cut out the frames on bother the outside and inside. I stamped the same frames on white card stock. I stamped my images on the white frames and used colored pencils to color them in. I trimmed the colored frames to be smaller than the back frames. I adhered the white frames to the black frames.
The sentiment I wanted to use was too large from any of the frames, so I partial stamped a frame and made it large. I did this with both black and white frames. I layered the sentiment behind the black frame so it matched the others.
Next, I began playing with the layout of my card front. I adhered the frames to the orange ink smooshed pieces. I trimmed any pieces that hung over. For the fourth card, I used a few of the small pieces I cut off to finish the design.
I stamped a sentiment on the liner and added a treat bag and some candy corn. I used colored pencils to add color to the images on the liner. Then I adhered it to the card base.
I also made envelopes to go with these cards.
