Veggie Diorama card

May 19, 2016

The winner for the Lawnscaping Challenge #129 made a very cool diorama card, which inspired me to try my hand at a diorama card as well. I love the results. I got the directions from https://littlegreenbox.wordpress.com/2012/11/07/pop-up-diorama-tutorial/. I found the tutorial very easy to follow. My favorite part is that this card will still fit in a regular envelope. I did adjust the measurement to fit the dies that I own.

The front view

View from the top. You can see the four frames that pop up from each other.

Size: Horizontal side fold 3.75 x 5” card

Extra Details: I ink blended the dirt hills and grass with Distress inks to give them some depth and interest. I fussy cut all the veggies out after water coloring them with Distress Inks. I added a side fold card base to the back of the pop up panel to give me a space to write.

Stamps Used: Lawn Fawn’s Rooting for You

Dies Used: Lawn Fawn’s Small Stitched Rectangles, Grassy Border Die, Speech Bubble Border

Inks: Lawn Fawn Yeti White Pigment Ink

Distress Inks in Dusty Concord, Fired Brick, Ground Espresso, Hickory Smoke, Mermaid Lagoon,

Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry, Pine Needles, Seedless Preserves, Spiced Marmalade, and Ripe Persimmon

Hope you enjoyed the card J
