These are two of the cards I made to send to family for Easter. I was playing around with first and second generation stamping to create softer colors.
First generation stripes
Second generation stripes
Size: Vertical top fold A2 card
Extra Details: I began these cards by creating the striped backgrounds. I cut two panels of white card stock. I inked the wide stripe stamp with ink and stamped the first panel. I used the same stamp without re-inking on the second panel. I used 6 different ink colors to create a rainbow background.
Once the panels were completely stamped, I die cut them with a stitched rectangle die. I adhered the panels onto light grey card bases.
For the sentiment, I die cut smaller cross stitched rectangles and stamped the sentiment on the left side of the rectangle. I adhered the sentiment panels to the cards with liquid glue.
I stamped the bunny images on some white card stock. I used Prismacolor pencils to add some shading. I fussy cut the bunnies out right on the black stamped line. I painted the edges with a black marker to hide any cutting mistakes. Lastly, I adhered the bunnies to the cards with a Mini Action Wobble for some fun.
