These are the Easter cards I made to send to friends and family. I had a bunch of water color paper scraps to use up, so I decided to play with my Distress Inks. Unfortunately, I made these cards over a month ago and can’t remember which colors I used on which cards.
Details
Size: A2 card and 4.25” square cards
Extra Details: I began these cards by white heat embossing the small egg image all over a bunch of panels of water color paper. I used three colors of Distress Ink on each panel to create some rainbow backgrounds. I don’t remember which colors I used on each panel because I made all of these over a month ago. After the ink was dry, I flicked some water on each piece to create some interest. I adhered each panel to a colored card base.
For the sentiment, I die cut some small cross stitched rectangles and stamped the sentiment on each. I used one of the Distress Inks to water color the edges of each rectangle.
I stamp and colored the bunny images on some white card stock. I used Prismacolor pencils to add some shading to the bunnies. I fussy cut the bunnies out right on the black line. I painted the edges with a black marker to hide any cutting errors. Lastly, I adhered the bunnies with a Mini Action Wobble Spring to the card front.
