I need a card for a baptism and a card for a first communion within the next few weeks. I struggled with these cards; I do not own any stamps that I thought really went well with the events. So I got creative. I like the way the cards turned out. I made two of the same card. Only one is pictured in this post.
Details
Size: Vertical top fold A2 card
Extra Details: I began this card by die cutting a panel of white card stock and dry embossing it with a Darice embossing folder.
I stamped the images on a separate panel of white card stock and using Prismacolor pencils to color everything in. Then, I pulled out the die cutting machine again. I die cut the snow globe that I stamped. I used light blue card stock for the back of the snow globe. Light green stock was used for the grassy hill. I also die cut some clear plastic and fun foam so I could turn my snow globe into a shaker card. Everything else, I fussy cut out.
I adhered everything together using double sided tape. I add some beads and sequins to the snow globe before I adhered the light blue panel. I used pink sequins because both cards are for little girls.
