When I was using the Simon Says Stamp Fingerprint Doodles stamp set on another card, I thought of this design. This time I made it a birthday card, because you can never have enough birthday cards.
Details
Size: Vertical side fold A2 card
Extra Details: I began this card with a white card base. Using my MISTI, I stamped a pattern of fingerprint on the card front. I used four different colors of ink; Lawn Fawn’s Butter, Peachy Keen, Moonstone, and Minty Fresh. I wanted the color placement to look random.
Once all the fingerprints were stamped, I added the animal outlines. I used Lawn Fawn’s Deep Sea ink for this.
I had a small cross stitched frame in my stash, so I used the Minty Fresh ink to color it to match the card. I stamped the fish and sentiment on a scrap of white car stock. I adhered the panel to the frame and popped everything up with foam tape.
