I am still receiving and loving the Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kits. I find that the kits are a convenient way to get a variety of styles of stamps and patterned paper. It is also an easy way for me to try out some new products and techniques.
This card was made with the Simon Says Stamp January 2019 Card Kit. I love the die that was included in the kit and can’t wait to use it on more projects.
Size: Vertical side fold A2 card
Extra Details: I began this card by die cutting two of the ice skater from watercolor paper. I used my Crayola Fine Line markers to add color to the ice skaters. I adhered some thread to the back of one of the skaters and adhered it to the other skater to create a spinner feature.
In my scrap basket, I found a rectangle of blue water color left over from some other project that I die cut with a stitched circle die. I cut the same circle into the front of my card base. I layered the thread between the panel and the card with some strong adhesive.
Lastly, I added a sentiment with white embossing powder.
I love this card! It is so much fun to watch the skater spin around and around.
