Helix Get Well Card

March 20, 2016

My husband loves to play video games. He has even introduced our kiddos to a few of his favorites this year. As soon as my daughter saw the So Jelly stamp set by Lawn Fawn, she called the jellyfish Helix, a character from Dragon Quest Heroes game who also happens to be a healer in the game. So when my husband got sick with a cold, I knew I had to make him a get well card using my daughter’s idea.

Peep Hugs

March 20, 2016

Easter is fast approaching. Who knew it was at the end of March this year?!? I ordered the Simon Says March 2015 card kit, because I just could not resist the stamp set and dies. It was about four more dollars for the card kit over just the stamps and dies, so I splurged and got some more fun goodies.

A close up of the the card design. I ended up making a bunch with different papers to send to family members.

March 5, 2016

I do not own a lot of colored inks, but I do own quite a few of the Distress Inks. When, I got the Rooting for You stamp set, I knew I would be using my Distress Inks and smoothing them out with water. I think it looks awesome.
